Remote 1:1 tutoring
Our remote tutoring program, designed around your district’s needs, allows you to provide targeted 1:1 tutoring to students in need of additional literacy support. All tutors are certified or retired teachers with K-6 classroom teaching experience.
High Quality Instructional Materials
Our literacy curriculum has been designed for use in 1:1 tutoring. Our Foundations curriculum is aligned with the University of Florida Literacy Institute’s (UFLI) scope and sequence*, allowing for coherence between classroom instruction and small group instruction and tutoring. Non-fiction Navigators lessons are aligned with Common Core Standards and support comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary development.

Assessment and Progress Monitoring
We use CORE Phonics and DIBELS ORF as an initial placement assessment to understand each child’s literacy needs and we monitor learning with end of lesson exit tickets after each lesson to inform our personalized approach to tutoring.
